Sandblasting

Using more professional type sandblasters enables the crafter to create larger, more deeply etched designs. When you meed to evenly etch or obscure the entire piece of glass or mirror, sandblasting is the only way to go. There are two types of sandblast. Both allow adjustment of the air flow from the compressor.

A. The SIPON blaster booth lets gravity feed the abrasive into the sandblast gun.

B. The PRESSURE BLASTER puts the sand under controllable pressure to enable you to control the speed at which the sand is blasted from the nozzle of the blasting gun making it easier to etch faster and deeper into the glass with less psi required.

All "booth type" sandblasters are SIPHON blasters. Siphon and PRessure blasters require at least a 5 HP compressor with 125 psi and 6-25 working cfm with the large tank

Abrasive grit needs to be purchased separately.
