Location: Store Home > project-1 - Beveled Glass Memories Plaque
Supplies INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Clean the glass thoroughly with glass cleaner. 2. Begin by arranging your pictures in a staggered manner. Temporarily tape the pictures to the glass. Take your unicorn stencil and place it onto the plaque in its desired position. Adjust as needed. Once the unicorn stencil is in position, tape the stencil to the glass to begin the rubbing process. Note: Remove your photographs so they stay safe until you are finished etching.. 3. Adhere the stencil and apply the Armour Etch cream by following the instructions found in the Rub’N’Etch stencil package or you can download them here online.. 4. After Etching your stencil design and the glass is completely dried, insert your pictures back in the predetermined position. Use the black tape and secure the pictures to the glass being sure to keep the outside edge of the tape parallel to the picture. This will give it a sense of a black border around your picture. After you tape all around the edges of your pictures you can use your hobby knife to clean up the edges, if needed.. 5. Following the instruction enclosed with the Hot Fix Setting Wand and begin to embellish your etched design with crystals and/or rhinestones . Keeping the crystals random will give the project a more natural look. |
